A Budget Friendly Option for...

Liked: This property was very close to Cedar Point and getting to the park in the morning was very convenient. Room was clean and I felt pretty safe. Wi-Fi connection was good as well. Water pressure and temperature in the shower were great. Room was clean and the bed was surprisingly comfy.
Disliked: There was some confusion on check-in as the hotel had already charged my card, and the front desk attendant tried to charge me again. We got this straightened out, however. Shower was set up funny, took a while to figure out how to turn the water fully to hot. Not enough outlets to plug up phone charger and other devices.

Great location and wonderful staff

Liked: The location was perfect. I came to Sandusky to go to Cedar Point and Cedar Cove is literally across the street from where you turn into the park. The staff was very friendly. Despite being on a busy-ish road, it was pretty quiet. The bathrooms had wall dispensers in the shower for the shower gel, shampoo, and on the wall above the sink for lotion and hand soap.
Disliked: The bathrooms need to be updated. It had that old stale smell in it. But once they update those, the room will be great.
