Good facilites, and here the...

Liked: Bed was very comfotable and all items within the room were of a good standard. The room itself was quiet, the only issue was other guests closing their room doors quite loudly late at night on the first night.
Disliked: Though the overall experience was very good, and the staff were profesional, however the staff could have been more friendly in their approach. Having a better smile when seeing their customers or a welcoming sentence would make a big difference to the customer. Offering to provide support on how to use the parking machine etc, rather than us having to ask them would also make a difference.

Great location and comfortable room.

Liked: I always look for 2 main things in a hotel - the comfort of the bed and the quality of the shower - and both of these were excellent. We had upgraded our room before arrival, so I cannot comment on other standard room types, we had a Deluxe Double room on the 4th floor. It was quiet, especially as there was a wedding on that weekend. We did not book breakfast as we were away early, so I cannot comment on that. We would certainly stay again.
Disliked: If I were being picky, I would say that a fridge would be a good addition to the room. But it did not affect our stay, and the hospitality tray was very welcome.

Liked: The hotel was very bright and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bedrooms were spacious and well appointed.The breakfast was excellent.
Disliked: I received a ridiculous number of messages from the hotel via the booking.com app. I don't know if it was the app or the hotel that was responsible, but it became a little wearing.
