Liked: Jacob at reception was a jewel! Very helpful and knowledgeable! Enjoyed his warm demeanor and professionalism.Great bar and restaurant staff! Nick makes a lovely drink!Good food and music - wonderful summer fun!

Nice, friendly, comfortable hotel that...

Liked: The room was comfortable, with a generously stocked (and very large) refrigerator and snack tray (items available for purchase). The hotel location was great, adjoining a nice outdoor shopping area and across the street from the Texas A&M campus. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful! We did not go swimming, but the pool and surrounding courtyard appeared inviting, well maintained, and clean.
Disliked: The room's balcony was large enough for two chairs and a table, but only one chair (a rocker, which was a nice touch) was on the balcony. Hard to enjoy coffee in the morning on the balcony with your spouse with just one chair! We attempted to have breakfast at the restaurant, but although it was set up buffet style, it seemed understaffed. The available tables all needed cleaning, and we noticed that there was only one plate, and it was not clean, available at the start of the buffet line. We waited for a bit, but ended up going somewhere else for breakfast. Too bad, because the buffet looked and smelled good otherwise!

Looking forward to returning for...

Liked: Laid back, listening to live music from the balcony of my room, room aesthetics, spacious bathroom with adequate amenities. Hotel scent…had to buy it.

Liked: We really enjoyed our stay it felt like a hip place to stay and still felt family friendly! Location and was quiet in our room even though it was on a side street.
Disliked: Shower water pressure. Whatever they are saving with those shower heads you're giving back by showers taking twice as long to rinse your hair. Ended up rinsing in the sink every time. Not comfortable.
