Pleasant

Liked: Staff were welcoming, property was clean , location walkable , free parking. We were able to use the kitchen to make drinks as we pleased. We were also given an upgraded room.
Disliked: Breakfast was served to you around a shared table, we were not aware of what we were eating until it was served. Unfortunately the first day was French toast though presented nicely it was like a very sweet desert. If we had been aware we would have declined .We also were given a choice of two sittings for breakfast which we found a little prescriptive . Having had an exceptional experience in another B & B the previous night which was $ 40/ per night cheaper , we felt it wasn’t good value for money in comparison.

Liked: The house was beautiful inside and out. Location was perfect within walking distance of the main downtown and right across the road from the park. Our room was very comfortable and homely and the breakfast was always good. We sat in the parlour with other guests which was really nice, getting to know people. All the staff were lovely to friendly and helpful.Would highly recommend Catherine Ward House.

Loved it!!

Liked: Not only did we love the food they prepared for breakfast but the socializing with other guests was very enjoyable! Also loved sitting right outside our room in the morning and watching the squirrels and birds in the trees in a beautiful, quiet setting.
Disliked: Water pressure could’ve been better in the bathroom but not a big deal.

Liked: I loved the quiet, the food, the staff, and more. The location was close to coffee shops, and good food along with a Kroger if you forgot something. I'll definitely consider booking there again!
