Liked: - The hotel really came through for us! We booked them approximately an hour before we came, during the infamous blackout. They were one of the rare places to run normally at the time, WiFi and electricity were working, which was a true blessing.- The room seemed pleasantly minimal and like it was renovated recently. Great bathroom too.- The staff was beyond kind, and also stored our luggage after we checked out so we could enjoy the city some more before our flight. - The location is top tier!
Disliked: - Unfortunately, not everything was stellar. The room we got quite literally had no natural light. We did have actual windows, but they were positioned in such a way that the only thing we saw were pipes and cords. I imagine this works great for a quick overnight, but it isn't very welcoming otherwise. We didn't want to stay in the room during the day for this very reason.- Soundproofing was really poor - we could hear intelligible conversations from neighboring rooms.

Liked: This is my 4th time to stay in catalunya and I've been really happy every time. It's clean, central, and the staff are fantastic.

Worst hotel experience I’ve ever...

Disliked: Upon our arrival, after paying for a double bed, we were informed that they were sold out and given two twin beds, which were unstable and moved with the slightest touch. Later, when we went to shower, we discovered that the bathroom window, which overlooks the shower, didn’t close properly, an unusual and concerning issue. To make matters worse, after showering, a cockroach emerged from the towel rack. As if that weren’t enough, we attempted to secure our room, only to find that the door lacked a deadbolt, and the internal lock was non-functional. Additionally, we found dead bed bugs under the mattresses. I reached out to the staff for assistance and requested a room change, but they were unhelpful and dismissive of our concerns. This experience was incredibly disappointing, and I would strongly advise against staying here. If I could rate it a 0/10, I absolutely would
