Superb

Liked: Great location. Very modern and clean. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast with healthy options.
Disliked: Pillows a bit lumpy.

Liked: A hidden gem. Small hotel in the heart of the Gothic Quarter within walking distance to the sea and major attractions.

Liked: The staff at Catalonia Magdalenes could not be nicer! They made excellent recommendations for dining, activities, and excursions; they always asked us how we were enjoying our stay; and they helped us with baggage in friendly ways. We looked forward to our return to the hotel each day. The rooftop terrace was a nice option for the evenings--quiet and nice to see the lights; they bring up drinks or made-to-order snacks until well into the evening. Rooms were very clean and well-appointed. They keep fruit-infused cold water in the lobby and were often offering us bottles of water to stay hydrated while we were on the go.
