Perfect location; excellent base for...

Liked: Superb location! On the Gran Via, could not be better. Lots of nice restaurants / shops so perfect for us. Easy to get to the Bernabeu stadium for the match on the Sunday. Reception staff really nice and helpful.
Disliked: Our son was disappointed that the pool wasn't open (too cold) but we are from Ireland so that doesn't bother us, ha ha!

Exceptional

location great - the only...

Liked: The location was amazing - could not be better also staff really nice and friendly. Ambiente of hotel entrance very nice too.
Disliked: When you get though to the upper floors and rooms, the hotel is not clean, construction is ongoing, lifts dont work properly, my room was specious. Larger than expected and much larger than the room of my friends. But I could not open the windows, the windows and the balcony door could not be opened, the balcony had broken tiles, the window was dirty - so dirty you could barley look outside. For a 4 star hotel, my room was not clean. There was hear on my bed linen and a lot of dust and bread crumps from previous guests. For the price I paid, i was disappointed. The rooms are stylish - bathroom is new and also very comfy - and relatively clean. To be fair - I did not raise any complains with the hotel when there.

Great location but not worth...

Liked: Great location close to shops, metro and restaurants.
Disliked: Damp smell in room, pool closed and only one elevator working. Staff wouldn’t even give us water during power outage and no information given to guests

Liked: Absolutely everything. Staff so friendly. Location right in the hustle and bustle. Everything within walking distance. Fabulous breakfast each morning. Room immaculate and quiet. Would highly recommend.
