Overpriced with Spartan decor

Liked: Excellent location for visiting Barcelona. Staff were friendly. A reasonable choice of food for breakfast. Rooms were clean and good storage. There were facilities we didn’t use which may have been good.
Disliked: Booked 3 rooms with a terrace for a special occasion. Used the picture supplied on Booking.com to visualise a terrace with a view of the Cathedral opposite and a room with separate seating area and bedroom. Unfortunately, only one room represented the picture and two other rooms had no view at all with terraces enclosed by high brown boards of walls and no separate seating area. Disappointing considering how much was spent on the 3 rooms. The hotel was full and only smaller rooms available. Hot options for breakfast were tepid/cold. Restaurant lacked atmosphere- didn’t seem well used and we ate elsewhere. Some may like the clean lines and spartan decor.
