Liked: AC was marginally effective which was important given the room faced the afternoon + evening sun.
Disliked: WiFi was weak - breakfast options limited but plenty of external options locally at 25%-50% of the Hotel charge

Liked: There are three, count ‘em, 3 Catalonia hotels on La Calle Atocha in Madrid. This trip I was fortunate to stay in two of the three for timing purposes. This one was beautiful and located closer to Atocha Station. It is in the center of the city and my rope was lovely and quiet. Staff were helpful and pleasant, but that’s nothing new for this Hotel group.
Disliked: I have nothing to say here. All was perfect!

Liked: The room was very clean and comfortable. I'd asked for a quiet room and it certainly was! The room overlooked a central courtyard and I didn't hear a single noise during our stay, either from outside or from other rooms. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel was in a great location, very easy to walk to all the centre. Whilst we were staying there, they opened a new reception area which was lovely and added to the quality of the hotel . We didn't eat in the hotel but we had breakfast in a super bakery just across the street which offered great coffee and pastries.
