Good value accommodation in reasonable location.
Liked: I was a little slow to go for breakfast so some items were in short supply.
Disliked: Booking in was arranged through staff in the middle of serving in the restaurant and it was not explained that the room was in the annexe.

It was ok, but the room needs some tlc.
Liked: There was parking which was very useful. We were left undisturbed which was nice, but staff came to ask about breakfast which was also nice, although we didn't actually eat at the hotel at all. The bed was very comfortable. There was shower gel provided which was helpful as we forgot ours. We chose this hotel as it was very conveniently placed for where we were visiting, we pretty much just slept here so it served it's purpose.
Disliked: The room was on the main road and although some traffic noise was expected it was very loud. There were no net curtains so it felt very exposed if you opened the curtains. Hence, we kept the curtains closed and had to use the lights all the time. Although there was a small wardrobe there were no hooks for coats which would have been helpful. There was nowhere in the bathroom to put your toothbrush/paste toilet bag etc. not even a shelf. The lower shower holder was broken so you had to hand hold the shower if you didn't want to use the overhead unit, on the plus side the water was lovely and hot. One of the bedside lights was on the blink and needed a tap to stop it flashing. On the first night the tv for some bizarre reason started to flash at 3am... we turned it off at the plug each night after that as we didn't want to risk being woken again.
