Good value hotel, in a...

Liked: Good location. Room for a family of 4 at a good price. Parking available for extra payment. Pool (but didn't use). Staff very friendly and helpful too.
Disliked: Bunk beds are very squeaky. Our room was very close to reception, so it was noisy late at night and early in the morning.

Had an excellent stay at...

Liked: Great location just a 15 minute walk from the Science Museum, Oceanografic and hemisferic. Lots of great restaurants locally too. Breakfast was good but choice was a bit limited. Room was lovely and clean and beds were really comfortable. Pool was lovely and bigger than expected and heated. I booked this trip for my daughters birthday and on her birthday the manager and the hostess came out with a doughnut with a candle and gave my daughter a happy birthday picture which was really lovely and thoughtful.
Disliked: Room was smaller than expected but we didn't mind. Breakfast was a bit limited on choice, Only 3 hot food options per day and mainly meats and cheeses with a few croissants and cakes. We had a quadruple room with bunk beds and a double bed so we had our own space which was great,

Liked: Proximity to city was good and in a relaxed safe neighbourhood. Rooms were clean and bathrooms well appointed, good water pressure for showers and clean towels daily. Housekeeping faultless.Some receptionists very fluent in English some not great but all were helpful. Didn’t find out till day before travel that the pool was closed for maintenance which was very disappointing. Breakfast buffet was nice however I wax disappointed with the scrambled eggs which were hard and inedible. A choice of freshly prepared boiled, fried or scrambled would be a positive step.However a very nice place for a short stay… a solid 8/10

Disliked: No vent/extractor 8n bathroom,no English channel on tv.
