Nestled on mature grounds Castlemead is in a wooded valley overlooking Manorbier Bay the Pembroke peninsula and the ruins of Manorbier Castle. The beach is a 2-minute walk from the hotel. Dissapointing .

Liked: Staff were lovely and helpful. Setting is amazing.
Disliked: Felt a bit tired. Did not like where our room was situated in the annexe.

Liked: Good location for the Pembrokeshire Coastal path being very close. Bed comfortable Handy fridge in bedroom
Disliked: Accommodation tired Communal areas full of dead insects and cobwebsBreakfast too late for us as it was not available until 8.30am and we needed to walk. Packed alternative breakfast was incredibly badExpensive accommodation

A magical place

Liked: The house and gardens were beautifully situated and the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Our seaview room was definitely worth the extra expense and the dinner on the second night was excellent. The village pub is just up the road and very useful if you are there on a night that the restaurant is shut.The location was excellent for getting onto the coastal path and you also have the castle and church in the village to explore.
