Liked: We did not stay in this Motel due to advice from Booking.com that there were significant issues with the manager taking bookings he could not accommodate.
Disliked: Interesting that we should get this - we did not use this booking as Booking.com sent a text advising that there was an issue with this Motel and that the manager was being evicted.I immediately contacted Booking.com on 31/08 and advised that due to this we did not want to keep the booking and sought a refund. Your consultant did contact the Motel and was told that there were issues but that we could be accommodated. Given the original advice from Booking.com was that the manager was taking bookings he could not accommodate I pointed out to your consultant that this statement held little value and why would we believe it when you yourselves had advised he was not being honest.The consultant advised that the motel would be contacted to seek a refund. That was, of course, declined. I have subsequently followed up directly with the Motel by email and phone. The email address no longer works and when I phone I am told to email.This has left us with a vey very unsatisfactory experience with both the Motel and Booking.com who have not been of much support. I will not book through Booking.com again.
