Very nice place to stay. Centrally located to nightlife and the many restaurants around. From the train station google directed us towards the canal - it's a lovely scenic walk but if you have a suitcase the cobbled areas make it difficult and then there are two sets of steps to get to the hotel. Alternatively, come out of the station and turn right, cross at the crossing opposite the Hilton, and that road is Liverpool Rd, continue down, and the hotel will be on the left. The staff are very welcoming, thanks to Thea for making it even better. The staff are very accommodating to your needs. Thanks also to Maria, who served us behind the bar. Our room was immaculate. We were on the street side, which can be noisy, but the double glazed windows helped. Although we slept with the windows open, it was fine for us. We were able to use the Y Club with gym, full-length swimming pool, steam, and sauna rooms free of charge. You need a £ coin for the lockers, and towels are provided. Overall, we had a wonderful two night stay and will definitely be returning. In addition, the hotel is charity run, so anything you buy goes towards helping the community youths, which is an added bonus.
Liked: Location.
Disliked: Better vegan options.

Friendly hotel
Liked: Good sized room, easy to use the adjacent leisure club swimming pool and sauna, extra towels provided. All the staff very friendly.
Disliked: Breakfast was fine but would prefer more fruit and museli. Why don't hôtels have hooks in the room for your coat?

Very helpful staff.
Liked: Staff we very helpful. I've stayed here several times before and never had any issues.
Disliked: The food on offer wasn't great. I had fish and chips and it wasn't fresh fish. Disappointed with it because of the price they charged. I was told they ran out of ketchup.

Spacious Rooms and Friendly Staff,...
Liked: Although the price is similar to London, the room is very spacious. The staff are friendly, there's an elevator, and the lobby has a bar. The room's soundproofing is also quite good.
Disliked: Parking is inconvenient, especially as there's no suitable spot for drop-off or pick-up.

Fun stay for the science...
Liked: Front desk couldnt do enough to help! Right on the free bus route. Great for kids with the gym and pool downstairs. Breakfast was lovely. Rose the dog on reception was very cute.
Disliked: Room got very cold overnight and no sockets by the bed which meant i needed an extension for my medical equipment. But reception got me one no trouble at all.
