Very nice place to stay. Centrally located to nightlife and the many restaurants around. From the train station google directed us towards the canal - it's a lovely scenic walk but if you have a suitcase the cobbled areas make it difficult and then there are two sets of steps to get to the hotel. Alternatively, come out of the station and turn right, cross at the crossing opposite the Hilton, and that road is Liverpool Rd, continue down, and the hotel will be on the left. The staff are very welcoming, thanks to Thea for making it even better. The staff are very accommodating to your needs. Thanks also to Maria, who served us behind the bar. Our room was immaculate. We were on the street side, which can be noisy, but the double glazed windows helped. Although we slept with the windows open, it was fine for us. We were able to use the Y Club with gym, full-length swimming pool, steam, and sauna rooms free of charge. You need a £ coin for the lockers, and towels are provided. Overall, we had a wonderful two night stay and will definitely be returning. In addition, the hotel is charity run, so anything you buy goes towards helping the community youths, which is an added bonus.

conventient but not a great...
Liked: Good location, good size room, nice staff. Parking ok but a bit pricy £14pd,
Disliked: The gym and pool had a bad vibe, as it was near to or part of the YMCA the people in there were not the type I would normally choose to be around, in the sauna/pool the language used was offensive. Also in the pool and gym there were people with security tags on them indicating they were just out of prison and some of them gave off quite a negative even aggressive vibe. I used the gym but stayed out of the free weights area and used the suana only once as the people in there and the type of language used was offensive. This spoint the experience for me and I would not go back there, it should be noted on the adverts that the facilities of the hotel are shared with the YMCA
