Basic accommodation, but does the...

Liked: The room was spacious, the decor was simple and unfussy. It was basic but did the job.
Disliked: The hotel is on a main road at a junction, and is right up next to the road, so some traffic noise is inevitable.It wasn't as bad as a I feared, but it's not ideal.The shower seemed to run out of hot water on my second morning.The room and facilities generally are also quite basic. I wasn't expecting the Ritz, so that was fine.

Disliked: The traffic noise though we still got some sleep plus we were only short stay.

Liked: Ideal location for central Warwick, the hotel does not provide breakfast but plenty of cafe etc close by. We were impressed that staff provided clean towels (although that could have been seen as wasteful for the 2 nights we stayed), and they emptied the bins and tidied the bed.
Disliked: We had a ground floor room which had a view of the car park and was adjacent to the main entrance. Unfortunately there was no window blind or net curtains for privacy, although there was a fitting to allow for nets. Upon enquiry the hotel had no nets . The shower was difficult to adjust and the hot water in the basin had to be run a long time. As the hotel did not provide breakfast it would have been nice to have a fridge for guests who provided their own breakfast. There could also have been a little more storage for clothes.

Liked: Hotel is a bit spartan as far as reception is concerned, but that's OK. There are shops and a nice fish&chips just across the road, so unless you like hotel restaurants, all is good!Location is right next to a traffic-light controlled junction, and is quite busy. However, it isn't as noisy as you might think - the windows are very good at reducing the noise. Location is very good for access to Warwick station, the centre of Warwick including the castle.
Disliked: It was a no-frills hotel, nothing really to dislike given what it is.
