Passable

Liked: Location was great.
Disliked: Dirty carpet, very low water pressure in the shower, window difficult to open and close, tv didn’t work. Overall unclean and in dire need of a renovation.

Great location

Liked: The great location (easy 10-15 minute walk to the High Street), free parking, helpful staff, the attractive garden (a few more tables/chairs might encourage more guests to take advantage of this maybe.)
Disliked: Our stay happened to coincide with a spell of very hot weather (30+ degrees) and our room in the Coach House, a separate building, had no air conditioning and a single small window which could not be opened more than a few inches (regulations presumably), the floor standing fan provided was a godsend but nights were still challenging.

Great value for money, super...

Liked: Staff was very friendly and helpful. They really made a difference.
Disliked: Room was a bit dated, but no issues that would prevent us enjoying our stay.

Lovely, historical place to stay.

Liked: The staff were amazing. Very friendly and helpful. There was a garden, seating area out the back.
Disliked: The car park was adequate, however other people didn't park properly which made it difficult to park sometimes.. The staff did assist us to solve.

Liked: The staff were amazing friendly and approachable..
Disliked: In great need of complete upgrade.Update toilet so low to floor, toilet seat didn't fit and was dangerous.Curtains were not hung properly broken ringsl. Room was facing out heat unbearable only one fan. Coat hangers only two asked for more only one more was totally inadequate.This place could be amazing but needs everywhere upgrading urgently at the price charged it was not worth the cost. The bed was rock hard neither of us slept well. Only * in our opinion. Would not stop there again or recommend it to our family or friends.
