Liked: On arrival we was met by a warm welcome, our room was lovely absolutely loved the bathroom and bed. Our breakfast was gorgeous and the service from staff was brilliant..well done castle hotel!! I come to Devizes quite a lot with my husband to see my step daughter, will deffo stay at the castle again if there is a room
Disliked: Only disappointment was we did not see a ghost lol

Liked: Staff were really helpful and allowed us to store our kayak in a private courtyard overnight prior to the DW Race. We ate dinner in the hotel and the food was excellent. Young lady working both behind reception and in the bar was outstanding and very helpful.
Disliked: Some noise from the street but probably more down to the fact we were in bed early.

Liked: Location is good and convenient.The Castle used to be my my first stopping off point on the regular Friday and Saturday night outs - seemed back then it had more charm. Room was fine, clean and tidy as was the shower room.
Disliked: Bed was comfortable but pillows were like cement bags!!Hotel bar area and dining room lacks charm, very sterile!Breakfast: I stuck with toast, that was the typical Hovis pre-sliced bread that tastes of cardboard! Could do with some improvement.Staff: my feeling was that they were not genuinely friendly, more like I was an inconvenience when I asked a simple question about where the nearest newsagent was and other questions.
