The service was excellent; very clean; fantastic location; fantastic restaurant. I would go back like a shot. The staff were so friendly. The whole experience was 10/10.

Thoroughly enjoyed the stay; staff very helpful throughout.

Liked: One of the nicest rooms ( single ) that I have ever stayed in; exactly what you needed in the room for comfort; nothing extraneous to cause clutter - so often the case.
Disliked: Breakfast was confusing; single member of staff at check-in; no real time to lead you through; waited rather a long time for cooked dish; apologies were forthcoming unsolicited, however, and the kipper was excellent ( as was the rest of the breakfast).

Lovely and central but didn’t...

Liked: Staff and location made our one night stay exceptional. We forgot to request hypo allergenic pillows before we arrived and the team had them swapped out straight away. Made us and our dog welcome.

Overpriced but satisfactory

Disliked: The stairs look like they are for a school and the rooms lack the warmth to be described as romantic

We live in Yorkshire and...

Liked: Excellent location. Breakfast was fine. Staff were all very nice, helpful, polite and friendly.
Disliked: We would have preferred to have had a restaurant to eat in rather than Brazz which, although part of the hotel, was open to the general public.Didn’t like having to pay almost £20 to park our car for the two nights.
