Location is great!

Enjoyable stay at very convenient...

Liked: Thoroughly enjoyable breakfast, catering well for GF options. Friendly and efficient delivery of breakfast items.
Disliked: Nothing to say that we didn't like.

Liked: The centrality of the hotel is ideal.
Disliked: The room we were given was horrible. It was supposed to be ‘city view’, but in reality the window was painted over and when opened it (only opened 2 inches) it was facing a shaft with bird feather and dung. We asked for a room change the next morning and they were able to accommodate, if not we would have left the hotel to seek another lodging.

Not ideal for events

Liked: Beds are comfortable, facilities are clean.
Disliked: The entire experience was unfortunately tarred by a complete and utter shambles with the checking in process. I was there as part of a larger wedding party, the hotel claimed members of the party were not booked. They were sent to other hotels where they were told they were not booked either, the room allocated to the bride was not the one she booked or paid for, and neither was the room for her grandmother which has specifically been bought with a castle view, but overlooked the carpark. There was refusal to switch the rooms, and the attitude of the staff was disinterested and dismissive at best. It took over 4 hours to rectify the issue, and it was a painful and unpleasant process to do so. I do not recommend booking for a special event.

Liked: Situation and hospitality was perfect to celebrate my wife's 70 th birthday.we really enjoyed the whole experience.
Disliked: We found the temperature in the room a little to hot !
