Liked: The staff were really nice and helpful, the rooms were comfortable and good showers
Disliked: The rooms were far too hot despite having the aircon on as it was a bit feeble. Didn’t sleep well at all. We had to wait a long time to be seated for breakfast despite being with my 90 year old dad and the coffee was poor

Christmas family weekend

Liked: It had a real Christmas feel and we really enjoyed as we normally do and my sister and brother in law were really impressed with the hotel.
Disliked: All was good but I had problems with the ev charger and it would not charge my car so I had to look for a charger away from the hotel which wasn't very convenient and wasted a morning of our stay.

Disliked: Coffee at breakfast not served cafetière was definitely not fresh !!Bed worst bed slept in I had terrible back problems after husband said same . Air con very noisy !Very expensive not value for money

Lovely Christmas atmosphere with helpful...

Liked: The hotel is a stone's throw from the castle. The minute you step in you feel a lovely Christmas atmosphere. From the decorated staircase to the welcoming open fire where you can have afternoon tea. Very friendly and helpful staff who went out of their way to make us welcome.
