Liked: How beautiful it was
Disliked: The spa and restaurant were closed and I wasn’t informed until I arrived. In fact, I’ve been home for 3 days and just this morning received the emails telling me of the closures.

Do not go!

Liked: The place is so beautiful!
Disliked: We requested for some water during the night as I needed to took a pill. The staff suggested us to use uber eats for a bottle of water (in the middle of the night) as they cannot give any water...Spa not available but included in the name and the price. Pool not available.No water.. no food, you needed to request Uber eats to have some.In the first day, during the check in a very rude man treated me really bad when he asked for a credit card, and I told him I would be paying in cash ( as I asked before by chat, and they agreed). He also was not willing to provide any support to us/ not a client face person. He should not be dealing with clients. The user experience was really poor.

Disliked: The front desk guy was too busy watching a ball game on his IPad .The room wasn't clean and short on wash cloths and soap. Parking at this location isn't convenient. The restaurant was closed but didtell me when booking. . But the town advertising sleepy hollow is supposed to be the busiest time of year with several things closed till Friday.. The visitor center was closed. I will not be back.

Liked: The room was big and clean. The grounds are beautiful.
Disliked: The air conditioner was located so that it blew at the side of the bed like a gale force wind and made a horrible moan every time it cycled off. The Spa does not exist, the world class restaurant is closed permanently and the day we arrived the pool was closed. Also don’t expect room refreshing or clean towels unless you go get them. We requested a room refresh once during our 4 day stay and were out of the room for 6 hours. At 5 pm they showed up to clean. We were already showering for an evening wedding and gotten fresh towels ourselves. Luxury is not what I would call it if exceptional service is what you expect when you are paying for luxury.
