Liked: Food, service were both excellent and my wife said the pool was also very good
Disliked: the room was rather small and looked ready for a refresh but bathroom was fine.

Liked: Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful.
Disliked: Some of the breakfast options had all been eaten and not been replaced.

It did what we needed.

Liked: The staff were uniformly friendly and helpful and our room was comfortable. The hotel has excellent views and is a good location for visiting Kendal and the local area.
Disliked: A breakfast buffet is always a bit disappointing as some bits become overcooked (black pudding, fried eggs) and some are undercooked and insipid. (bacon)

Liked: The room was very clean, although the bathroom was a little dated.
Disliked: The swimming pool is small and availability is limited. Several daily lane sessions that have to be booked in advance meant that we could not enjoy it as we would have liked.

Liked: Fab hotel with friendly staff. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and new. Excellent restuarant.Room size was excellent.
Disliked: Decent breakfast, however can be a more better. Not many varieties and no fresh fruit..
