Disliked: There was a lot of things around the property that could have been cleared away giving the grounds a tired appearance. The windows were filthy dirty too.

Beautiful place, friendly staff and...

Liked: The Hall itself and the grounds were beautiful. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The gentleman that checked me in was friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Nothing on this stay not to like.

Brilliant hotel for me and...

Liked: Clean, well spaced out rooms. Plenty of car parking spaces and lovely gardens.
Disliked: Nothing

Passable

Liked: Beds were comfortable. Good shower. Good breakfast. Had a fan in the room.
Disliked: Booked a superior family room for 3. The pictures showed in the booking.com website is absolutely NOT what room we were given. It also clearly states in the hotel information that superior rooms are situated in the main building. However our room was in the Coach house, next to the main building. The room was so small, definitely not 258feet2 and it was only a double bed with a sofa bed. So misleading from what I had booked of 1 double and 1 single bed. Also in the pictures it shows the room comes with a bath. The shower and toilet were so small. It obviously was not what was depicted in the booking.com website not the hotel main website.. When I approached the supervisor in charge, he said that this was what was allocated based on the booking.com. How is that? No manager was available onsite and they were fully booked. He said he would give a compensation and the next day, he said the manager would give me a call. I am still waiting for the call. The sofa bed was not prepared and we had to ask for it be be done, wherein the superior and his staff came to do the bed. He said no housekeeping staff were available. In addition, he said towels are only provided for 2 guests. Despite it being a family room which can accommodate 4. They did bring us the additional towel. No drinking water provided in the room and when asked they said it is not provided, but brought some later. A holiday that was so looked forward to for the splendid images given were a let down.
