Liked: The castle and the grounds were absolutely stunning! The room was huge and perfect for a family of 4. The building and the room was lovely and so much history.
Disliked: Although the room was spacious, with so much character. The carpets were filthy dirty throughout. As you walk into the beauty of the room, you are greeted with extremely dirty carpets nothing like I have ever seen in any hotel room we have stayed in. The rest of the room was clean but to be honest the filthy carpets was the main talk of the evening. The property is lovely, but the family room is in urgent need of tlc.

Nicest place we've stayed for...

Liked: The bar and restaurant areas were bright and clean, comfortable and pleasant areas to relax
Disliked: We were in Cromwell, the linen cupboard for all rooms were in our room, so we couldn't relax until all linen was replaced - that said we loved our room.

Delightful

Liked: A beautiful old pub with stunning view over Edgehill Battlefield. The staff were kind and friendly, particularly considering I drank rather too much of their deliciously dry Provence rose!!
Disliked: Mattress not brilliant.

Disliked: The toilet seat was a bit wobbly

Excellent value for money and...

Liked: Location was excellent and the room was very comfortable, large and well equipped

Scenic and fun

Liked: Such a fun place to stay. Our 3 person room was super cozy with thick stone walls. Breakfast with a view was excellent. The website photos really don't do it justice. It's quite a treat.
