We’ll be back!

Liked: Euan and Emma were the perfect hosts and made our stay feel like a gathering with friends rather than at a hotel. The accommodation was comfortable, spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. The home cooked food by Euan was delicious. Thank you both!
Disliked: Everything was perfect!

Wonderful Stay at The Mey...

Liked: Breakfast was excellent. Choice and quality of the dinner menu also excellent. The owners were extremely friendly and full of information including gin recommendations (!) and helping us book a day trip to Orkney (well worth it but needs more than a day to do it justice).
Disliked: Nothing, all good.

Liked: The owners were warm and inviting. We had a lovely pop up dinner with a guest chef that was great! Breakfast was also delicious and well prepared. Our room was cozy and we were near the seastacks at John o’groats as well as the catamaran ferry to Orkney. Great location, cozy atmosphere and relaxed vibe!

Liked: Located along the north coast, it’s a great spot for exploring. There’s a very personal touch with this hotel, and we were made to feel very welcome. The breakfast was cooked to perfection, as was the evening meal. We sat in the lounge in front of the fire in the afternoon and enjoyed the ambiance of a very tastefully decorated room. Thanks for such a lovely stay.
Disliked: Nothing!
