Castillo Real Resort Hotel

Staff is extremely friendly and helpful; rooms are clean and bed was comfy. I will book again at Castillo Real.

Excellent service and location.

Liked: The staff was a pleasure and always accommodating. Special thanks to Raquel who always greeted me with a smile and helped me to resolve many issues. Location was amazingly close to beach which I did not realize when I booked. I loved the steamer in the room as opposed to an iron. - worked great for my clothes! Convenient parking. Beautiful decor in lobby.
Disliked: The hotel was in transition so I was often having to ask for things that were not in the room but it was readily provided. My door was left open during the day when I got back it was still open, but there was no issue in my room. I think the hotel will be amazing after all of the upgrades.

Liked: the front desk was helpful, the front desk manager was very good
Disliked: Ownership could not care less about costumers. Towels, sheets, and mattress are beyond decency, torn and broken. The bathroom lacks appropriate lighting, and you should bring your own soap and shampoo. The room was half empty, nowhere to seat. The bed makes lots of noise at every move. The pool is out of service. The building has 4 stories, only from the 4th floor you can slightly see the ocean. Overall is not delivering on the promises.

Nice and comfortable close to...

Liked: It’s right at beach just footsteps away . Our room was clean n bed comfortable . Staff friendly .
Disliked: It is still in the process of remodeling And. upgrading, no breakfast which is mentioned when booking . Pool was nice but Jacuzzi not working . Overall nice hotel but note that during the renovation’s no breakfast available .
