Decorated in a 17th-century style this elegant hotel is located 820 feet from Place de la Bastille in central Paris. It features an interior courtyard and a lounge equipped with a computer. Satellite TV and free Wi-Fi are included in each guest room. Some rooms have views of the courtyard. All of the soundproofed rooms feature Louis XIII furniture and Toile de Jouy wallpaper. A buffet breakfast is served every morning in the vaulted stone cellar at Castex Hotel. Upon arrival there is a bottle of wine for guests in their room. Great location

Liked: Location
Disliked: Breakfast is not worth the cost but is convenient if you’re in a hurry. My bed made a loud squeaky sound when climbing in or out of it but was comfortable when sleeping.

Liked: The room was nice and cool The ensuite was good
Disliked: The hotel is very worn and could do with repainting and new carpets everywhereThe breakfast was very basic

It was a nice stay

Liked: The room was spacious enough for the two of us and tidy. It was easy to get around the city center from this location. We liked the decor of the room, it really resonated with the medieval vibes of the city.
Disliked: During one of the cleanings the towels were taken away with no new ones left to replace them. We went to the reception and got a new pair, but it was still weird.
