Liked: Liked it a lot! Space to hang out, kitchen with needed stuff to cook. Location in the middle of the old town! So friendly staff.
Disliked: Beds were not the best: you know these ones which makes a lot noise when someone move? They have those, but I mean it is not so bad thing

Disliked: noisy metal beds. All hostels should have wooden beds that don't make noise to every move of anyone sleeping.Small number of showers and not very convenient. Small rooms.

Liked: Location is perfect.
Disliked: Bunk beds are noisy. If you're sleeping under then there won't be any sleeping for you because every little movement made by the person above will drive you crazy. And the room is hot. No ac. And very tiny room for 4 beds.

Liked: The property was quite charming and well located but the bathroom situation extremely very awkward. Shared men and women and nowhere to change. (This is not normal in many countries)
Disliked: Bathroom situation.

Lovely, friendly hostel in Gamla...

Liked: A great hostel in a lovely location as it is a little off the main street of tourist action, so it was pretty peaceful. We were greeted nicely by the staff on arrival and allowed to leave our luggage as we were early for checkin. Our room was fine, 2 bunks for a family of 4. Adequate storage spaces for a hostel.The communal seating area was nicely decorated and felt cosy and welcoming. We liked the older style of the property which gives it some interesting character features. The showers were nice and hot.There's a nice cafe outside, attached to the hostel which did a really nice breakfast and coffee too.
Disliked: There were only 2 things that weren't ideal. One of our bunks was SO squeaky, like REALLY squeaky which made it a little difficult to sleep at times and the person sleeping on it felt like they couldn't really move all night. The reception area isn't manned overnight (I think from 1800-1000, or something like that) so when we went for a shower in the morning the toilets and showers and stinks were fairly grotty, as they hadn't been maintained at all for those hours.
