Clean, comfortable rooms that have been nicely remodeled. Very affordable. I will stay here again.

Liked: Quiet property with a clean and complete hotel room. We stayed 2 nights and we were pleasantly surprised that our room was cleaned while we were out having fun. Price was very low and value really high.
Disliked: No complaints

Liked: excellent value for non luxury but comfortable, well kept up, well located accommodations. Good mattress on the king bed.
Disliked: Nothing important. Maybe additional lighting such as a floor lamp but was aquedate as furnished.

Liked: The staff is always pleasant, the rooms are always clean and the beds are comfortable. The best part is that its affordable, which has made it my 'go-to' motel when in Bend.

Sadly, convinced me that big...

Disliked: I was double charged then issued only a partial refund for the redundant charge that 3 calls to the motel have not resolved. I am now having to file a dispute with my credit card company. Besides that, the motel is creepy. The decor is half barn wood and half glittery Walmart. The bathroom has a weird death trap, elevated shower/tub and very odd plumbing for the sink - clearly a do it yourself job. I thought I would "shop small" to promote small businesses but it's major chain hotels from now on for me.

Liked: The first room we were assigned smelled of cigarette smoke; we asked for another and the desk clerk cheerfully offered one which did not smell. Our dealings with this fellow were always friendly and constructive The 2nd room was tastefully updated and the bed was comfortable. Parking was right outside the door. We felt the motel provided good value for money.
Disliked: I was charged a $15 "booking fee" that was not included in the Booking.com bill (which states that it includes all taxes and fees). I only found out about the fee because I happened to check my banking activity on arrival. At check-in, I asked the office about the $15 fee; the owner claimed it was charged by Booking, not the motel. Not true, I said: Booking does not charge customers any fees. I was told they would look into it, and if I was right, the fee would be promptly refunded. It wasn't. The next day at checkout, I was told there had been a computer error on their end, and I was promised the $15 would be refunded in a day or two. Nope.Not a bad place, but you should maybe watch your credit card statement if stopping there.************************************UPDATE: Two weeks have passed and no sign of the twice-promised refund.UPDATE: Five weeks have passed and no refund. I have asked Booking to assist me in recovering the money; they have my documentation which shows that the $15 "booking fee" was billed by "Fizz & Froth" (according to my credit card statement). Fizz & Froth is a beverage store owned by "Eshan C." (according to Yelp) and operating from the motel's parking lot (according to google maps). Why would a "booking fee" be charged by Mr. Eshan C.'s food service business?I am not making false accusations or lying, Mr. Chopra; I have absolutely no reason to make any of this up, or to spend so much time and effort to recover a trivial sum. However it happened, this is wrong. The mistake was not mine or Booking's, so please accept responsibility and stop blaming Booking.com for it.
