We would recommend this quaint,...
Liked: Very good customer service, friendly, helpful and welcoming. We loved the art pieces at this historic property, and learning about the history of the hotel.
Disliked: Can't think of anything here. The casita was small, but very comfortable and very much in line with the price. It's a small, old historic property, and priced as such. A very good value!

I look forward to returning.
Liked: Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The location is perfect for exploring Old Town. And the cottages were excellent for an extended stay.

Liked: We are native New Mexicans and we support local business by spending our Anniversery at local hotels. We like the area and decided to try this hotel. The pictures looked beautiful online but arriving at the hotel was shocking. Very ran down and messy grounds with leaves and trash. The receptionist actually said she would sweep in front of our door "if we wanted her to". The leaves and debris was bad but I thought maybe that is something that should be done before we arrived for our stay. The room was very outdated with very unattractive furnishings. The bathroom was dirty with long dark hair all in the sink and tub. The bath mirror was falling off the wall as well as the toilet paper holder. The shower curtain had several broke curtain rings and was hanging off the road. We did not like the free standing tub/shower combo was difficult to use for my husband to get in and out safely. The walls and ceilings have water damage everywhere and the patch work is very ugly and not a professional job. Everywhere you looked something was falling apart or had shotty work done to half repair it. Our room was the Rio Grand and on a saturday night we were blinded all night by car lights coming and going and there should be black out curtains on those street side windows not just cheap blinds. The coffee machine was broken and we had to ask reception for a replacement. We had the complimentary breakfast and the guy doing the cooking was also taking orders and people were waiting longer then they should have to order their breakfast. After we got our food we heard the cook yelling on his cell phone "that he was Done! And that day would be his last that he didn't sign up for this Shit"! Not a pleasant guy to the hotel guests was not friendly at all and seemed very annoyed all of us were there for breakfast! Overall my husband and I wasted our money staying here and there was nothing pleasant about our stay. Better places we could have stayed.
Disliked: Everything. The staff the room and the hotel all need a serious makeover. We feel embarrassed for our state that one of our Historical Hotels in beautiful downtown Albuquerque is ran down and mismanaged and the rates being charged is ridiculous based on the condition of the property. The staff had a dont give a damn attitude and really maybe outside management needs to be brought in to fix all the problems. Very disappointing to say the least we will not support this hotel in the future.

Liked: From the moment we booked, till we checked out, we had a great stay. We booked while traveling on our month long road trip honeymoon without knowing anything about this Inn. They called to check when we were arriving. Upon arrival we were greeted, shown around, and recommended good places to eat. We explored old town, just steps from the Inn. Enjoyed a wonderful dinner at backstreet grill. Our room was cosy and clean, with a comfortable bed and pillows. The jacuzzi spa in the room was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast was delicious. The grounds were pretty. All and all a ten!
