Great hotel to learn about...

Liked: We enjoyed the old style of the hotel which resemble the early time in St. Augustine. Also the closeness to touring the historic city.The staff were so engaging and helpful. Also the Martini bar was so nice as well as the morning breakfast.
Disliked: We found nothing we didn’t like.

Terrible room.

Liked: The bathroom toilet was so tiny and low to the ground that I could not use it. I am 5’10’’ and 190 lbs so I don’t think that. Should have been a problem. The mattress was way too soft and I awoke with a bad back The hot water did not come on so I didn’t shower. When they couldn’t help us we packed our bags and left. It was room #9.
Disliked: Don’t rent room #9 out to the public.

Love the attention and friendliness...

Liked: I love that it’s at the Historic district , there’s free breakfast, free martinis. I love the decore! It’s by the Bay!!!
Disliked: The air conditioner was not working. We were able to cool off on the balcony at least.

It was my birthday celebration

Liked: We enjoyed our stay. We were right in the historic district. We had nice balcony to enjoy the town. We had parking for our car. We enjoyed boat ride nearby. We could get St George by walking

Great location, lovely staff, rundown...

Liked: Ate breakfast on first day. Service and food was mediocre. Chose to eat off site for the rest of our stay.p
Disliked: Stayed in the garden suite. Everything was run down. It looked like they’d recently painted since paint drops were everywhere, even on the patio cushions. At first glance I thought it was bird poop. The bathroom was tiny and the grout was nasty. The shower was gross.
