Fun, Funky Hotel in Old...

Liked: The staff were welcoming and just the best to deal with. From the time we checked in they were available and helpful from giving directions to recommendations for sightseeing and restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is older but well maintained. We were upgraded to a mini suite with a wonderful king bed and plenty of room to relax and lounge about. The temps outside were very hot and humid, but our room was always cool and comfortable. The evenings cooled off enough to enjoy the rooftop lounge and hot tubs. Having a lounge and breakfast restaurant onsite made the stay exceptional.
Disliked: My only complaint is that our inside room did not have any outside windows - similar to being in an inside cabin on a cruise ship. It was perfect for sleeping but not as much fun putting on make up inside the steamy after-shower bathroom. Thank goodness for my new lighted travel mirror.

Liked: We liked the Casablanca movie theme. Very good location to restaurants and bars. The hotel restaurant located just past the lobby was very good, but we only tried their breakfast. Cozy upstairs seating is also available
Disliked: Some of thec window shutters had broken latches. Water pressure was a little low.

Exceptional

Nice small hotel, but housekeeping...

Liked: Loved the location and the roof deck!
Disliked: Instead of regular bath towels we only had step out towel mats to use. Unfortunately I didn’t realize it until after I was done showering and had no chance to request real bath towels! We were only there one night so that was our experience.
