Not for people who need...

Liked: It's cheap, the common areas are pretty and nice to hang out on, and you'll meet interesting people.
Disliked: This place is very, very basic. The rooms are small, the furniture is old, and everything is falling apart. You have to stand on a chair to turn the AC on. There's only one outlet in the room. The breakfast is coffee, cheap bread, really cheap cereal, dubious yogurt and fruit.

Liked: - Very beautiful hotel- Very friendly staff - Good location, not too far from the ‘centro historico’.
Disliked: - Twin beds are a bit small for couples- Shower water wasn’t going down the drain easily

A great place to stay

Liked: Our room was clean and spacious enough for the 4 of us, with multiple dressers and closets and a private bathroom. The hotel is in an excellent location, the two nearby parks (Revolucion and Expiatorio) hold fun events on the weekends, it's close to a public transit hub and ATMs are nearby (on the other side of Hotel Portobello). The hotel's communal spaces are nice, including a kitchen well stocked with utensils. The breakfast is good, featuring fresh fruit, toast, cereal and coffee. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: My bed was rather hard, I could feel the mattress springs on my back.
