All in all we could...
Disliked: First it started with a parking problem. They were like sending a few messages saying where we can park. We’ve been to all these spots but it wasn’t possible to park there for more than a few hours. We drove to a park garage which was recommended somewhere in the internet and I asked casa sofi about how it worked because nobody was in the parking garage we’ve could asked for. The answer was just an automatic answer like all the messages before. After a long trip we arrived in the room. It was just a really tiny room were we couldn’t park our luggage. The “kitchen” had no dishes and cutlery.Luckily we could open a window but we were never able to close it which is bad because of the air conditioner. The room was clean and was setup with new towels every second day. This was super nice. We had shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. In the kitchen there was a microwave (we couldn’t use it without the dishes) and a fridge which was really great. Unfortunately they just refill new coffee pads once. The light from the corridor was shining very bright under the door the whole night why we put a towel in front of the door. Massive annoying was the permanent sound from the AC from the building next to our room. It was running the whole night. Additionally there was a super bright light between these buildings. The code to get into the rooms are not working anymore immediately after check out time. Bad if you have left something in there and the door closes. We brought our luggage in 2 steps to the car and luckily I had a foot in the door when we realized that the code isn’t available anymore.

Good, very clean un-manned property...
Liked: Very clean property situated at the south end of Miami Beach (2nd Street) Airport flyer express bus stops 2 mins from property and costs $2-3 to/ from the airport. Whilst unmanned, all codes worked well and queries were promptly responded to by text. Excellent communication throughout. Bed very comfortable/ spacious room. Complimentary sun loungers/ beach towels offered on south beach. No crockery / cups/ utensils supplied, no lift in the building and no-onsite facility to store luggage.

Second Stay – Still a...
Liked: This was my second stay at Casa Sofi, and overall, we chose to return because we really appreciated the experience. The location in SoFi (South of Fifth) is unbeatable — a calm, tree-lined neighborhood with a serene atmosphere, away from the noise of South Beach and close to the ocean. There’s also a convenient public parking lot nearby. The hotel is a tastefully renovated Art Deco building, and the rooms are clean, bright, and have well-sized bathrooms. The housekeeping schedule (every two days with towel changes) works well, even though it’s not clearly stated during booking. Communication with the hotel via WhatsApp is fast and responsive.
Disliked: Despite the responsive service, I found the staff somewhat inflexible with guest requests. As a returning guest, I kindly asked for an upgrade, which was declined. I also requested a late checkout, which was unfortunately not accommodated — this was a bit disappointing. The hotel could also improve by offering street parking permits for guests. The shower still leaves much to be desired: very low water pressure, slow and inconsistent hot water, and a clogged showerhead make for a frustrating experience. Additionally, having basic kitchenware in the rooms (such as plates, cutlery, glasses, wine opener, and a toaster) would greatly improve the comfort for guests.
