Hotel Description
Located on the first floor of a historic palace in the heart of Florence the property is just a few steps from the Duomo and Santa Croce Church. Completely restructured in 2005 the guesthouse has been in the current owner's family since the beginning of the 1900's and now offers 6 rooms each one tastefully decorated with original 19th and 20th-century furniture. The friendly staff will be happy to assist you with a full museum and restaurant reservation service as well as good suggestions on what to visit around the city wine tasting one day tours in Chianti and in other Tuscan beautiful cities.

Liked: It isn't far from the city center, and the renovated rooms are OK. Plenty of space.
Disliked: The communication could have been better. Long wait/late check-in. You can leave your luggage before check-in but it's just lying there in a corridor inside the house. It didn't feel safe at all to leave our things there with nobody around to look after them or store them somewhere more secure/private.

Great location with everything within...

Liked: The room was a large spacious room and was quiet. Large bathroom which was nice. Lady was very tentative when we needed help with a couple of things which was great.
Disliked: Lift was very slow and small but manageable.
