Lovely and cozy place at...

Liked: Pay the few extra dollars for the terrace if it’s an option. The view is absolutely spectacular. The room is cozy and comfortable.
Disliked: There is no bell at the front and every time we walked back to the hotel after hours we had to wait until they eventually saw us on the camera, and the first time we waited over 5 minutes nervous about what to do to get in. None of the staff are particularly warm. The location is fantastic, but just be aware the church bells and the musicians in the street are VERY loud in the morning. I’d still stay here again despite the sound.

Disliked: I wish there could be a mirror in the room, other than the bathroom one. Especially a full body size mirror.

Nice location but it’s not...

Liked: We had a bad actitud doing the cleanning until we started giving tips. Young lady in front desk with bad actitud. Horrible towels from room service.

Superb

Liked: Great location. Clean and comfortable room. We got a room with a balcony and straight view to the Cathedral.
Disliked: The only issue is with parking that is almost 2 blocks away.

Passable

Liked: The location is excellent.
Disliked: While the beds in the room had clean bedding, the floors and bathroom looked as if they had not been cleaned for a while. Also, we were provided no hand towels or washcloths. When we inquired, we were told they were out but were given a bath towel to use.

Great stay

Liked: Great location, right in the centre. My room had a balcony overlooking the cathedral. East access to all sites. Room was comfortable and staff really helpful

Overall hotel was nice and...

Liked: It was right in the historic center. Easy access to everything.
Disliked: The hotel is nice, but needs attention, Vanities did not flush properly, shower gets clogged with just the shower water, shower head in our room leaked water from the top, floors, where always dirty with lots of hair everywhere.

Poorly managed, strong odor in...

Disliked: We really wanted to like this unique boutique-style hotel, but unfortunately the sickeningly strong odor of the air freshener and the lack of warm water were deal breakers for us.The first thing we noticed upon entering the room was the air freshener, which smelled like the ones that are commonly placed in toilet bowls. After a brief search, we indeed found a toilet bowl freshener attached to our trash bin. We promptly got rid of it, but the odor lingered.We asked to be transferred to another room — alas this second room didn’t have a working AC unit, no window, and no warm water. The air freshener was also present in this second room, but to a lesser extent. Nevertheless, it was strong enough to bother us throughout the night. Last but not least, the lights didn’t appear to be working properly in the room, which made it difficult to get dressed.
