Superb value hotel in a...

Liked: We spent our first nights in CDMX at Casa Prim, arriving Christmas Day. The staff were extremely warm and welcoming, the hotel is small and arranged like apartments which we liked. The room was very clean with a firm bed, good sized bathroom and toiletries. Nespresso machine in room. Juarez is a cool district which is definitely on the way up! Loads of great restaurants, coffee shops etc nearby and close to Roma Norte where most tourists stay. We felt really at home and loved our stay.
Disliked: The lighting was hard to figure out as there were so many switches. Only one coffee pod per person each day. Safe didn't really work for our passports.

Disliked: Restaurant and bar very quiet. Broken tv

Disliked: The room was small and not much room for storage of clothes. Couldn’t get TV to work.

Liked: A great location, with super friendly staff and an incredibly comfortable bed! They were always so welcoming and happy to help us and talk about Mexico and Mexico city!A wonderful place to stay

Liked: Good hotel in a convenient location for getting around CDMX. Beds were extremely comfortable and room perfectly clean throughout.
Disliked: We booked an airport transfer via the hotel in advance as arriving in the early hours but it did not arrive but we were able to get an Uber instead very easily. Hotel concierge did not seem 24/7 as advertised.

Liked: Room was large and bed large and comfortable
Disliked: Changed to a « balcony » room but it only had a « Juliette » balcony so misleading Staff at checking were friendly but limited English Lots of staff (either security or porters) but they tended to hang out outside on their cell phones all day and never acknowledged me when I left or entered. Bathroom lighting was poor - fluorescent lights and there was a note in the. Atheism that if a guest used makeup on a towel the guest would be charged for replacing it! (Never saw that before )
