Liked: The staff has offered us the suite as un upgrade that we had do decline because it faces a very crowded street.The bed was really big and comfortable.From our room on the second floor we didn’t hear music and noise coming from the bar, but we stayed Monday night-Wednesday night so it can also depend on that.
Disliked: The room has only windows in the bathroom and they can’t be opened completely.They request a deposit for the room (and ut’s the only hotel that has requested such a payment) and 10 days later that haven’t refunded it yet

Ideal place to stay in...

Liked: Fabulous hotel, my 5th stay! This time I stayed in the suite, which was huge, very spacious. There was a living space, giant bathroom with a very deep bathtub. The cafe/restaurant downstairs delivers to the room and is also a great place to sit, the food is fantastic. The location is ideal, close to everything, very safe - lots of great food options nearby. The rooms are stylish. The bed is very comfortable. The cleaner comes every day.
Disliked: Its noisy, located on a busy road, but this is most of the City! We lost power, internet and water one night. Whilst things happen, the staff member did not communicate or offer to keep us updated. Other guests left. It was very cold (winter), so we were unable to use the heater or even have a shower. Better communication is needed for events like this which we were told are common.

Lovely boutique hotel - location...

Liked: There is so much to like about Casa Nuevo León. The room was clean, comfortable, and had nice modern feel. The bed was especially comfortable! There is a nice terraza upstairs with chairs and tables for enjoying a sunny day. In the mornings I ordered coffee and breakfast from the restaurant downstairs and worked at the desk in the room before heading out to explore the city. The location is central to many restaurants, coffee shops, bars, bookstores, clothing shops, and best of all Parque Mexico and Parque España. The staff was super friendly and helpful, they welcomed me every time that I walked through the lobby and made suggestions for places to visit in the City.
Disliked: The hotel is next to a busy street and there is a bar next door so three are city noises though out the day and evening. For me this was not an issue, I fell asleep just fine- even with the bar music and chatter coming from below. However, when I recommend the hotel to friends (I already have!) I mentioned the city noises and suggested that they may want to bring ear plugs- just in case.

Basic amenities, good location but...

Liked: Location in Condesa is very good. Room was spacious. Shower had good water pressure and hot water. Room was clean. Comfy bed. Cafe attached to hotel.
Disliked: It was sparse - tile floor with no area rugs. Some parts of the bathroom needed more attention - corners needed cleaning. Cracked tiles made it look a little run down. Window was a fixed pane that did not open. Bar noise was very loud on the weekend, until 2 am. Bar has access to hotel stairway.

Liked: Casa Nueva Leon is a lovely hotel at a very reasonable price-point. It is located in La Condesa where you can find both street food and upscale restaurants. The staff members are friendly and accommodating. The only downside is they do not have a main lobby or offer breakfast, however, there is a cafe on the first floor of the building to remedy that.
Disliked: The towels are a little scratchy and there can be some noise from the downstairs bar on the weekends.
