Liked: It was clean,nice and quiet in the evening and a decent location for what I needed
Disliked: The food was expensive,the staff apart from the young lady this morning were disinterested and bordering on rude! Nobody appeared to be in charge,and one entrance and the same exit,what would have happened if there was a fire?

Not a very good stay

Liked: Not very much breakfast was very poor. Evening meal for the 8 of us was very poor also we sent desserts back as they were inedible. Clearing the table was very slow came w it th desserts and our main meal plates were still on table.
Disliked: Food could have been better in fact a lot of the food wasn’t eaten

Superb

Liked: Location was perfect. Very quiet, but easy to access. Parking was great. Nice, large car park.
Disliked: Missed breakfast on Sunday, had to leave early to catch my flight.

Perfect for purpose of our...

Liked: Travelled from South Wales for one night stay prior to flying from Manchester airport the next day. Hotel is conveniently located about 10-15 minute drive from the airport and has a restaurant/bar attached. Room was clean and comfortable and great value for money. Both check in and out were very efficient and ample parking also.
Disliked: Quite isolated but was perfect for the purpose of our stay.

Liked: location was very handy to break up our journey.Staff friendly .
Disliked: Breakfast water from pump flask was only warm only one staff member on duty and she was very busy so did not want to bother her.Rest ok breakfast was ok

Liked: Very clean, compact rooms - well maintained.
Disliked: I was provided room on first floor, which was bit like cramped to navigate through stairs with lots of steps as you take the turns. Also was dark through the pathways (may be due to the colour of walls and doors).

Practical for what we needed...

Liked: The bar area was lovely, great rustic look.
Disliked: The rooms were very dated. Only surface clean. Mould on some bedding. Bathrooms very tired. The food was inedible at times and the clearing service was slow. We were served our pudding with our main meal still out.

Pleasant one night stay

Liked: Stayed for one night whilst attending a wedding nearby. Lots of communication beforehand and was able to check in early which was great. Rooms clean and setting was nice. Staff were pleasant.
Disliked: Rooms were very warm. Shower wasn’t the best but fine for one night.
