Casa Loma Inn & Suites by OYO Davenport IA near I-80

It was a nice, quiet & comfortable room & the owner is proud to get the building fixed up to his vision.

Liked: It was an restored old building that was very comfortable.
Disliked: There wasnt much for breakfast but Cracker Barrel is close by the inn.

He doesn't honor bookings prices

Liked: Nothing
Disliked: The staff was rude and wanted to down grade my room because they didn't like the price I received. He thought bookings app gave me a room for half the price of what he thought the room was worth. Then he told me the place was booked up which I would imagine not to be true since it was like 5 cars in the parking lot

There was no tv, no fridge, no microwave, toilet water was brown, and the Ac didnt work. So it was hot in the room.

Disliked: The manager of the property woke me up by banging on the door saying house keeping I said I was asleep he was saying I was flooding the downstairs, I was half naked when he knocked on the door he wanted me to let him in right then and there. I was the only person in the room. He said that I needed to figure out where the water was coming from. There was no house keeping in the two days I was there. He woke me up at 9am when I just got off at 4am check out is at 11am, and he kicked me out. He degraded me and said that I was going to get electrocuted by water on the floor. He told me that I was going to have to pay for the damages and was yelling at me about how I had damaged the property and I was not welcomed back. I had found that the leak was coming from behind the toilet from the tank, there was no seal between the toilet and the bolt and that was what was leaking I took pictures of the toilet. When I went to check out, because he told me I needed to leave so he can fix it. When I was checking out I told him that I found out where the leak was coming from and that I had just got off at 4am and had just went to the bathroom and went back to sleep. He was trying to undermine the issues of him yelling at me while in front of other costumers and saying hes trying to prevent me from getting electrocuted from water on the floor there is no outlet in the bathroom the sink was in the room itself instead of the bathroom. I gave him the keys and left

Our favorite Davenport hotel;)

Liked: Staff is the best!! Very unique hotel-great place to set up and do Tiktok or social media platforms. Several unique areas inside and outside for photos. Clean modern room. Close to downtown.
Disliked: No elevator, however there is only 3 floors and the stairs are spaced out so even on the third floor its not so bad.

Disliked: OYO is a disaster

Liked: Nothing. Absolutely horrible
Disliked: Paid for a double bed and only got one. Had to climb 3 flights of steps and my father in law can't walk well. Window in the room was broke and stuck open. Desk guy was complaining to me how he lost $--- because we booked online.

Not Pet Friendly

Disliked: We booked this place based on internet information and Bring Fido app it was pet friendly. It is not. We went to the place less than 20 min after booking. A sign on the door states No Pets. The clerk would not help us in any way to cancel the reservation. I called corporate office and was told they couldn't help me. I then called Booking.com. They were told OYO still planned to charge me for "late cancellation." All of this within 30-40 minutes. In dispute with my credit card company, OYO claimed I stayed there. I never stayed there because of the disinformation of their pet policy.
