This iconic Modernist building is located at the head of Barcelona's chic Passeig de Gracia Avenue. It has a sauna and gym and a roof terrace with a pool and excellent views. The luxurious Casa Fuster is a monument in itself built in 1908 by the Modernist architect Lluis Domènech i Montaner and has the status of Specialty Monument. His work including the hotel is a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. The elegant air-conditioned rooms at Casa Fuster G.L Monumento feature satellite TV and a mini-bar. There is a private bathroom with a hairdryer bathrobe and slippers. Some rooms have a hydro-massage bath. The Casa Fuster Hotel has a stylish restaurant which serves Mediterranean cuisine. Disappointing

Liked: The staff are very friendly and helpful. The building is beautiful.
Disliked: The staff are doing their best to keep the old building running. The facilities badly need a overhaul. We had hot water problems both nights, though the technician came in time and were apologetic. It's also very easy to leak water from the shower to the bathroom floor. They really need to do a renovation. The experience doesn't match the price.
