Liked: Located in the beautiful Albaicín quarter, and every detail was stunning. It was very easy to find and very accessible and quite central to most of the attractions. The staff were very friendly always and the room was very comfortable with amazing views. Highly recommend.

Nice hotel with friendly staff...
Liked: The location was good in Albaicin neighborhood. There are a lot of restaurants and cafes, gift stores, clothing stores close by and the cathedral, jewish neighborhood, Alcaiceria are 5-10 mins away. You can reach Mirador de San Nicolas after 15 mins walking in narrow streets (mostly uphil). From there, Sacramonte is also 10 mins away if you want to see a Zambra show. There was a bus passing by the hotel from Sacramonte. I tried to get in but since I did not have the exact change (1.60 euros) the driver did not allow me to ride so I had an easy 20-25 downhil walk mostly by the river to the hotel. It was very safe. We did Alhambra tour before we came to the hotel. The biggest challenge for us was with the driving.
Disliked: We picked the hotel since we were looking for a hotel with parking because we had a rental car. The thing is hotel is in the old city and rental cars are not allowed there. It also does not have a parking around the hotel. Hotel has discount deals with public parking lots (Instead of $30+ dollars you pay about $18 overnight). The first one was 20 mins (by car) away from the hotel but it was full. So, we called the hotel, they directed us to another one. We were able to park there, and get a taxi (one way hotel paid, the other way we did). This parking lot was 6 mins away from the hotel. Also, the rooms were very small, and seemed outdated.

Liked: The location is superb. The history of the place was amazing. Luis, the maintenance person, is really friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The room size is too small. I felt inside of a closet. Barely any amenities, although the bottle of cava, which I was unable to enjoy, was a nice touch.

Location Location Location
Liked: Historic building in the shadow of the Alhambra but downtown and central. Perfect location.
Disliked: Some of the furnishings were kind of useless. Tiny toilet seat. Strange side table. Windows that don’t close properly. Can hear everything going on in nearby rooms. It’s got lots of character but… Staff are very nice. It’s a fair price for the location and standard but don’t expect luxury.
