Liked: The hotel is charming, the staff willing to help, and the location was conveniently located.
Disliked: I was there for work, so was interested in sleep, and my first night was fraught with noisy neighbors, which isn't really the hotel's fault. However, I mention it here because if you are expecting a somewhat soundproof experience, this is not your place.

Liked: It’s a good location minus all the night club noise!
Disliked: Too much noise from Saturday night club folks who parked in parking lot by my room. They were revving up their engines for like an hour in the parking garage! It was way too noisy at 2:00-3:00 so I couldn’t really sleep! And in the morning, they told me that breakfast ended at 11:00 and when I got down there at 10:25 everything was as being put away to prep for Easter brunch! The staff should’ve said this when I asked the night before.

Liked: the vibe felt like we traveled back in time. the architecture was classic on the outside but the rooms were modern on the inside.
Disliked: people from downtown were rowdy in the first floor parking garage.but the 2nd and 3rd floor were safe.

Superb

Liked: The desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. Free covered parking was very convenient. Tropical setting was beautiful. Lobby interior was lovely. Great mix of history and amenities.

Great location, comfort and value.

Liked: Bed was super comfortable and quiet.
Disliked: The pool area could use more lounge chairs for the size of the pool and hotel.
