Liked: We got the Adobe House which was the best property off in the back. Huge, rich in history, beautiful furniture & aesthetics.
Disliked: Nothing. Everything was great!

Beautiful secret spot in the...
Liked: Casa Cody is dreamy - the property is very chic, but also low key and comfortable. There are two pools, so neither was ever overly crowded. The fruit trees around the property are pretty and the fresh fruit was fun to pick. The rooms are well appointed and beautifully decorated. We stayed midweek in a one bedroom suite, the kitchen was perfect for our needs and the room was spacious enough. The only down side is that there wasn't a dedicated desk area (I was working remotely), and I had to take over the small dining table. The location is ideal - it's one or two streets off of the main shopping road, and two blocks from the modern art museum. Everything is walkable or a quick drive from the hotel. The parking lot for the hotel is tiny, but we found street parking easily when the lot was full.
Disliked: Everything during our stay was perfect. However, there was one individual working in the front office who had a fairly surly attitude - perhaps the face masks didn't help as the only facial expressions we could see were through his eyes. When we stopped by the office to ask if they had salt, or to get more coffee, it felt like we were imposing on him every time we interacted. Besides him, the rest of the staff was wonderful - they were warm, attentive, and happy to be helpful.

Liked: We loved our two-bedroom suite and its location right next to the pool. All rooms are recently redone, very nice and clean, with beautiful touches/artwork.
Disliked: Availability of kitchen utensils since we had entire kitchen space, but no pans/pods. I believe it is a covid related issue. There was a resort fee associated with our stay at the check-in, I thought that this seems like a hidden fee scheme, because WIFI and breakfast don't really follow into the resort fee category, and this is not a resort anyway .. it's a b&b. I paid 1,200K for two nights and still need to pay extra for some other fees.. that seemed low.

Liked: Tranquil, quiet, lovely pools and setting. Concern about environment. Plants. Room decor. Friendly staff. Location.
Disliked: Parking. Felt a little understaffed. No places to hang towel and wet swim suit.

Would definitely return! Gorgeous setting,...
Liked: It?s limited. Breakfast could have been better. It?s good quality but limited to plain bagels and croissants, granola. Great juices and coffee though! My understanding is that it will improve once their kitchen opens.

Great getaway at Casa Cody!
Liked: The location (incredibly walkable), the design and products, it?s very peaceful/quiet, and love that there are two pools. The fruit trees are amazing, but it would be helpful if the pickers were resting by the trees for easier access. Love how dog friendly it is. The kitchens are great and a nice touch. Covid practices felt safe.
Disliked: Communication among staff could be improved. Although the rest of the toiletries were fine, the body lotion was very watery. For rooms with a kitchen, it would be helpful to have the guests cooking/prep needs addressed more proactively (it?s understood why it?s not all kept in the room during Covid, but it still felt like it was hard to take advantage of kitchen use due to lack of access).
