Amazing Long Weekend Break

Liked: Our room was great with a large well equipped sitting room and lovely bedroom with a sea view, which to be honest we didn't use as the dining room and the lovely lounge both were very comfortable and have superb sea views. We went in March so didn't get to fully appreciate the outdoor seating, but the hotel is on the SW Coast Path which we walked one day one way, the next day the other, both days coming back to appreciate the relaxing spa. Breakfast and dinner were also excellent. The staff were also very very helpful and nice. It felt like a family run establishment.
Disliked: The road down to the hotel and car park is very steep and narrow - not for the faint hearted. We had no problem but it might be a problem for others. But on the other hand, the hotel will park your cars and transport your luggage for you free of charge.

Very nice, chef left us...

Liked: Food was very good as long as you had no dietary requirements. The chef made it quite clear as we overheard that he was having to go out of his way to make a hollandaise sauce without cream. A premier inn or a travel lodge you’d probably expect a solid no, a hotel which is trying to hit higher standards I found it a little hard to digest + the chef to top it off kicked off about it in the most unprofessional manner loud enough for us to sit in the restaurant and hear it.
