Liked: The location was great. There was some construction close by but there was hardly any noise. It was nice to sit on the balcony and enjoy the afternoon sun.
Disliked: The refrigerator door did not always close. It should be adjusted. I forgot to mention it to the staff.

Liked: I enjoyed the pool area with whirlpool and sauna. Also liked the patio and was impressed with the kids? toy room even though we did not need it. Thankful for extended checkout till 2 for $25!
Disliked: The construction happening on Elgin. It made it more difficult for our taxis to get to the hotel.

Avoid. Stay literally anywhere else,...

Liked: The location is fantastic. Literally everything else is terrible.
Disliked: Surprise 30$ parking fee. Room is in a (former?) senior residence, decor from early 90s. Peeling wallpaper. Dirty carpet. No AC in main living area, no TV in bedroom. Furniture fell off the wall. But none of this compares to the loud, obnoxious sound of construction going on in other rooms. I've heard, since 8, impact drivers, an angle grinder, constant hammering. I'm assuming from the sound that they're removing old tile or demo-ing a bathroom in the room right across me.

Disliked: The only thing I can say that is negative is the room is dated. Could use a facelift. No wallpaper, new lights, new furniture, etc. Small changes make big impacts.
