Carriage Ridge Resort Ascend Hotel Collection

I would recommend this place to everyone. Will rebook here for next years Boots and Hearts. Also looking forward to bringing the family here for a getaway weekend. Plenty to do with the family.

Liked: Very clean; staff very helpful and friendly; nice large rooms; reasonable price for what you are getting.
Disliked: Nothing.

We were very pleased with the accommodations. Loved the pool area. Staff were great. We would definitely book again.

Disliked: Pool not open long enough, no info about trails being so close or how and when to use fire pit. No info about deliveries for food available. No private pool table, bbq and pool too far away

Nice location, good size rooms,...

Liked: Comfortable beds, rooms are clean with decent amount of space. Pool is clean, staff is wonderful to deal with. Outside propane fire pits is a nice touch. Walking distance to Vetta Spa.
Disliked: Internet was down while we were there which was a bit of a pain. Have to drive anywhere.

Reasonable price, but dated enterior....

Liked: Nice location, reasonable price.Friendly staff.The place was busy over the long weekend but it was still reasonably quiet.
Disliked: The room was very dated. I was at this resort ~7 years ago, nothing has been improved, same everything just aged a bit more.The bathroom was filthy, especially the toilet. The spa was filthy, I saw a lot of mould everywhere.No improvement in the gym in the last decade or so. Equipment was very few and the floor was dirty.

Beautiful location, perfect for a...

Liked: The location is perfect and beautiful, the option for a gym even though small is great. The pool was nice but was closed the first day I was there. The rooms are a bit dated but functional overall.
Disliked: Rooms were a bit dated with small tvs, the times for the check in/front desk and gym area could be extended to earlier and later. The bathrooms in the pool facility didn’t have any soap in one of the hand pumps.

Comfortable but not clean

Liked: Location is Great, room size is good. Kitchen has all the necessities. Like the BBQ option with the Picnic Tables under the Gazebo. Fire pit is a nice touch...but never seemed to be turned on.
Disliked: The cleanliness of the untit was unfortunate.While the floor and counters looked clean at first a closer look revealed stains on the wall and ceiling, filthy blinds, sever dust collection on top of the fridge and sticky kitchen floors.Also, the check out time is at 10am, which is an hour earlier than every other hotel in pretty much the world.Check in is at 4:00pm. I am not sure what they need so much time when there is obviously no thorough cleaning going on.
