Easy to relax for a...

Liked: Dog friendly. Food very good indeed. Decent pint of Guinness and Merlot. Easy to relax there . Decent power shower.
Disliked: Would have liked complimentary shower gel (were given bar of soap and shampoo). Larger mugs rather than small tea cups. Bit tired decor/carpet in parts.

Not Happy with the visit...

Liked: The room was fairly standard and in need of redecoration. Generally the staff were very pleasant and helpful.The location was very convenient for exploring the area.
Disliked: I stayed at the Carreg Barn for two evenings and was told when booking in that there would be a school prom that evening so the services and the restaurant would be disrupted. The party went on until midnight which meant that sleep wasn't an option until the music had stopped. The floor of my room was vibrating with the music.On the second evening I thought that it would be more relaxing but I was wrong, yet another school prom until midnight!!I was told that I couldn't order as they were busy doing the buffet for the prom, when I complained that they were not very respectful to their guests for not explaining the situation, the reply was that they were too busy!!They require you to pre-order breakfast the night before (not a fan of this) the breakfast was satisfactory but over priced. The Hotel should have declared what was planned when I booked, so that I had the option to change.

Hidden gem

Liked: Beautiful hotel, hidden gem. Harry was a lovely host. Food was excellent. Hotel was spotless, all the staff are very welcoming. Couldn't fault anything. Would definitely recommend to everyone

Liked: Location was ideal for exploring Anglesey.Staff were helpful and very friendly.
Disliked: The bed was too hard for us.The pillows were too firm.
