Disappointing

Disliked: The bedroom door had a huge hole underneath, as if it was exposed to everyone outside. The shower didn't heat up and the water was cold. The bathroom cleaning was terrible.

Comfortable quiet with excellent customer...

Liked: It was a last minute decision to stay and was extremely happy I got into Carreg Brag. Toom was comfortable and staff extremely pleasant. They were helpful and knowledgeable about the area.
Disliked: Everything was good can't think of anything I didn't like

Fabulous place to stay

Liked: The staff are exceptional. They were so kind to me. I had rushed there to stay as my husband was rushed to Bangor hospital. I had to bring my 2 dogs. The staff were so kind to all of us. The food in the restaurant was amazing. It's a short walk through a lovely church to the Menai straights. Bendigedig.

Great hotel, disturbed night sleep...

Liked: Fantastic welcome, great room and the food was superb.
Disliked: I didn’t appreciate being woken at 12.15am by the bar manager to be told that some of our group didn’t pay the tab when we left the restaurant in the evening. After explaining that we paid individually when we ordered food, and I had the bank statement show proof I was told they would go and check. Another phone call, and awoken AGAIN at 12.45am to say the manager had spoken to the bar staff and could see the mistake THEY had made, and that they were new staff. Broken sleep after a considerable drive to get to the hotel in preparation for a long day working at Trac Mon race circuit the following day wasn’t appreciated, and little in the way of apology. Perhaps staff should check the FACTS prior to accusing a group who’d spend in excess of £300 on rooms and food for a single night that we’d not paid a bill. Poor show if I’m honest, and I’d probably not stay there again even though the rest of the stay was acceptable and a perfect location for many visits to the circuit over the season.

Disliked: Poor bedrooms. One twin bed extremely uncomfortable, other only passable. Need replacing. Paper pealing in walls. Shower needs attention. List too long to mention. Public areas ok.
