Very good hotel if you...

Liked: Fantastic location. The hotel is located in an old castle, there is a little fragment of it in each room however it’s too ascetic. Some upstairs rooms of the room have unfinished ceiling and I don’t think it’s due to keeping the rooms original. Unfinished ceiling like in cheap officespaces plus my biggest issue was the lack of lights. I was put in a room with high unfinished ceiling and small lamp in the corner. The lamp was actually just a light bulb. I understand minimal accessorizing, but it made me feel like I am in the prison cell in the evening. It was so dark that I couldn’t even do my work. It was tiny table in the other corner, no desk no good light. It looked like the room was never finished so I was kind of depressing.

Beautiful hotel in a lovely...

Liked: The location of this hotel was excellent. We were very close to all the main attractions in the old city, but just far enough away to be secluded and quiet. Our room was spacious enough, and was very clean. The building highlighted some old ruins which was really nice.
Disliked: Like a lot of other hotels they only have a price option of a full cooked breakfast. We would prefer a continental option.

Caro Hotel

Liked: The location is really good as it’s right in the centre of town but also located down a quiet street. The hotel has a boutique feel and the staff are very helpful and attentive.
Disliked: The swimming pool is not very big.

We had an excellent stay...

Liked: Very upscale and centrally located in the old town of Valencia. Hotel personnel were a 10.
