Liked: What differentiates a great stay from the others is the staff, and at Carnson it surely did. Besides the ideal location, the breakfast was well- served, fresh and tasty.

Liked: The breakfast was really nice. The bedroom we had was beautiful and bright. It felt like staying in the bedroom of a friend's house (but with a much better and private bathroom). Loved the clever keys. And the early checking time was so helpful after our ferry was cancelled and we had to book this last minute. The people that run this place obviously really care about it and for it.
Disliked: One of the windows was a little difficult to close completely but we managed it and warmed the room up lovely with the heaters on.

A good basic room at...

Liked: Location very close to the train station so easy to find. Room basic and clean, with tea/coffee facilities and TV. Breakfast plentiful. Hosts pleasant and polite. Clever key system to keep guest feel safe and secure.
Disliked: My room felt chilly and there was no heating on during my stay. The bathroom was cold so I couldn’t face using the shower. Whether it was my sensitivity but there seemed to be a cooking aroma in the room. Another guest had their TV on very loud for a while indicating how close the rooms are! Fortunately all was quiet by the time I wanted to sleep.

A welcome overnight stay

Liked: We booked at last minute because of the location. The room was clean and felt secure. The owners were helpful and even got up early to make us a very nice breakfast as we had an early start.
Disliked: The bedroom wasn’t very big but was fine for one night. Perhaps other rooms were larger. The towels could do with replacing as seemed frayed.

Disliked: Nothing.

Good cost benefit ratio

Disliked: At least from my room I could listen the other guests.

Proper job!

Liked: Friendly welcome, room clean, comfortable and had all the facilities I expected. Breakfast was very generous and well cooked and to my request.Very convenient for the bus, train and the town and i will be booking again.
Disliked: I don't think anything could have been improved on.
