A welcoming, basic place to...

Liked: The couple who run this B&B are both friendly and welcoming.The check in was quick and easy. There is a ground floor twin room for people with poor mobility.Breakfast was good, with cornish specialities.Its very close to the train station, which was helpful for us.
Disliked: The decor was a little outdated.This is not the place for you if you want sea views. Very close to a busy road and pub, but we didn't struggle with noise, but this could be a problem if the windows needed to be open.

Good choice

Liked: Excellent breakfast, lots of options, full English, fruit, cereal etc. Very close to train and bus. Well maintained room on second floor of house, about 6 or 7 rooms in the b&b. No noise from road,train, or small pub next door.
Disliked: Bit of a walk to pubs and more touristy areas, but not bad, 5-10 minutes.Small bathroom, had to have door open to use sink. But was a nice room.

Liked: The host was exceptionally helpful in two ways:locating a car park and arranging a taxi.
Disliked: The area around the washbasin was minute and poorly lit

Liked: Great cooked breakfast, close to everything you need. Friendly supportive hosts.
Disliked: The mattress was too soft for me but that's just me being picky.

Liked: Nice hospitable b&b. Good host and hostess. Small, but complete and clean room and bathroom. Extensive breakfast options.
Disliked: Nothing.
